Born and raised catholic, K-12 catholic schools. Stopped believing it about age 11. I do not believe any religion, and I have spent decades reading about many of them - and experiencing some of them.

I think there is a lot going on that we are not aware of, some of which might affect us, but I do not believe anyone has THE ANSWER or any authority over how others should live their lives, and I don't believe we can really understand it all.

I also know enough history to equate big religion with mass murder and oppression.

I do not think of myself as an "agnostic" or "atheist" because they are groups...I don't feel the question is important enough to warrant being in a group, but I do generally support these people when it comes to legal matters of freedom.

Anger management class really pissed me off.

Yeah, we meet on Thursdays in our splendid meeting hall and sing him/hers (hymns would be sexist) and pass around the collection plate.

As my father used to say,"We have the best government money can buy."

    •  Well, humans do tend to operate in groups (0+ / 0-)

and one of the commonest ways to form groups has been by establishing religions. Political groups don't last nearly as long.
