    Honestly I heard his comment and I was not offended.   I believe anyone knowing who Sara Palin is, understanding her cold hearted, miserably nasty ignorance and nastiness in general, could not find what Martin said offensive.

    She was obnoxiously and ignorantly comparing the pain inflicted on human beings by other human beings to issues of debt.  Calling her out was right.   Musing that perhaps she would need to suffer what slaves suffered in order to understand slavery and stop using simplistic metaphors to compare slavering to debt issues was not offensive to me.

    Now putting gun targets on a voting district map not long after the shooting of a congress woman is offensive.

    I will miss Martin but like so many of you I am not surprised.  MSNBC will do anything to prove to righties that they believe the false equivalency game.
