    Neither of these has anything to do with grammar, other than being compound nouns, one of the subtypes of the lexicon, which is a rather inert part of grammar.
    The use of the terms is an issue of semantics, not of grammar.  And yes, both grammar and semantics are important, but matters of general usage, (providing that they have significant following and support), ought not to be controversial.  In gustibus non disputandum.
