  •  Go the fuck ahead. You're the one calling people (11+ / 1-)

racists based on bullshit inference.  That's as bullshit as it gets.

Big Al. Disagree civilly or step away from the computer.

      •  Wow. A blog nanny. How nice. (7+ / 1-)

We need as many of those as we can get.

Are you gonna wash his mouth out with soap, too? lol.

      •  Hey Fred, what's with the "abusive" HRs? (3+ / 0-)

You aren't supposed to use them in retaliation. It's against the rules.

If you're gonna be a blog nanny, at least learn how to use the tools of your trade properly.

I think you need to "step away" from the HR button.

        •  Ok Defender of Abuse (0+ / 0-)

It is up to the community to ensure civil conversation as best we can and to call out people who are abusive. The abuse in the comment was evident, the fucks were just gratuitous.

It is important to be able to discuss even difficult topics well here at DK.  Tossing in abusive comments detracts from our capacity to do that, which is why the rules exist in the first place.  Whats more DH, rating up abusive comments is also against site rules, both the spirit and the letter.

I use the HR button sparingly, but I don't hesitate to use it when I think it is called for.

Your comment attacking my perfectly reasonable effort at community moderation was a further abuse and if the diary had not already scrolled away, would probably be further reasonably viewed as a thread jacking.

If you have a problem with any of this I invite you to take it up with the management whom I am sure will be very glad that you have called yourself to their attention.

          •  No, your HR was in clear violation of two rules: (0+ / 0-)

            1) My comment contained no HRable content. Mocking isn't HRable.
            2) Retaliatory HRs are prohibited.

Plain and simple. Read the FAQ sometime, you might learn something.

By the way, your arrogance in challenging me to take it up with management is rather amusing. They don't have the time to go look for other things on people just because some smug, whiny person says, "Him, too!"

They address the case as presented to them.

So I'm not scared of bringing attention to myself.

I get idiotic HRs by butthurt people like yourself more often than most do, I suspect. I have a running list I keep, so I can submit them all at one time. It cuts down on the volume of helpdesk threads that way. Elfling is busy enough as it is.

Besides, dealing with one stupid abusive HR isn't something I would ask of her.

But I'm actually glad you took this route, now that I think about it.

            Why?

Because you've revealed to me what kind of person you are. I'll be sure to avoid reading/tipping/recommending your diaries/comments henceforth.

            Thanks for clearing that up.
