certain positions Rand Paul promotes or Justin Amash, maybe 1 or 2 others, as well. These are politicians that are very far on the political spectrum from me.

I don't credit far right politicians by giving them my agreement on anything because it's not possible to choose some of their ideas like items from an a la carte menu. I understand that a lot of people don't get this.

People who don't get it expect me to reject Democrats too if I don't agree with them 100%.  I can cut most Democrats some slack that rightwingers don't get because there's no equivalence between them and I act accordingly.  I don't make common ground with my enemies. Ever.

Rand Paul endorsed Greg Brannon, a candidate for North Carolina Senator. The endorsement was timed to coincide with a "Nullify Now" convention in Raleigh. The center was full of clean-cut college types who probably think Rand is cool on one or two issues, and maybe go along vaguely with nullification because they like their state.

But the Confederate flag is there. The literature painstakingly goes through the legislative and judicial steps needed to roll this country back to its pre-Civil War days. A Senate seat would be useful.

I read those good idea positions very closely. I put them through a fine mesh sieve.

saying these extreme libertarians are a fountain of "good ideas" because they advocate for the legalization of marijuana. That's pretty trivial compared to eating and taking care of your family. Everyone pretty much is advocating for the lessening of mandatory minimums, even people like our right-wing governor, John Kasich. And their opposition to NSA surveillance is situational.

Their other 200 ideas are wretched.
