  •  mine Rick Larsen ($ Wa.) has been contacted (0+ / 0-)

by me in person, by emails, and phone calls and the all I've recieved are boilerplate response about how great 'trade' was, how our economy in general prospers due to 'trade'.

I get pretty much the same answer from Sen. Cantwell and the responses I've received from both are proof my email wasn't read as I specifically told them if they responded to my email with talk about trade it means they didn't read anything I sent other than some topic line.

However I recently received a letter from Larsen and even with his usual 'trade is great' blather at the bottom of the letter he actually talked about how Congress shouldn't be left out of the process so 'fast track' wasn't the way to go.

From what I know of Larsen all that means is let Congress rubber stamp it.

(Reichert btw is a really big supporter of the TPP)

Btw here is another juicy part...

"Also according to the December memo, the U.S. has reintroduced a proposal that would hamper government health services from negotiating lower drug prices with pharmaceutical companies. The proposal appears to have been universally rejected earlier in the talks, according to the memo."
