      has an ever-increasing personnel problem.

      From PR to Obamacare (and myriad other issues) I don't think the people around the president have served him well at all.

      I'm not excusing the president. The overall responsibility lies with him. But I think he's been surrounded by abstract (RE: corporatist/neoliberal) voices -- all with divergent ulterior agendas.

      From Emanuel to Geitner to Larry Summers to Leon Panetta; none of them ever seemed to fit in with what Obama originally wanted to accomplish.

      I really think, to this day, Joe Biden has been the only official in the White House who has his back. (so-to-speak)

        he chose them because those are the people he wanted.  Except when he couldn't get his first choices, like Judd Gregg (R-NH).
