    me, and was around when they had public school prayer, , got hassled for saying the Protestant version of the Lord's Prayer, instead of the Catholic majority approved version. She was also hassled for saying Ah-men, instead of Aaa-men.

    Whichever Christian faction was in power got to make the rules for the other.

    I've heard other old time stories of where students were free to say the version of the Lord's Prayer they wished, but were forced to out themselves by choosing their versions - Catholic kids would stop praying a couple of lines before the Protestant kids.

    And the Jewish kids would probably get bullied by both sides for keeping their mouth shut through the whole thing.

    Amazing how religion can bring out the most ungodly side of people.
