    of having her father pay her for personal services, particularly if she's doing or will do a lot for him that's unpaid now and he has the means to pay her. (Who's to say whether she gives him a nice cash gift for his birthday?)

    Caregiver agreements (personal services contracts) have been used legitimately to minimize estates for people who want to qualify for Medicaid. I would consider their applicability for the reverse. (Typically, to anticipate needing to prove eligibility for Medicaid, these agreements are written, spell out the general duties, and set a fair market value compensation rate. Obviously, caregivers should report the income, which is what she wants to do anyway.)
