    It's currently housed in Lafayette at the Acadian Village (which is excellent, for those of you who haven't been.)  I have no strong opinions about it - it's naive folk art, not really my type of thing - but it's worthwhile to be able to assess his work without that goddamned ubiquitous Blue Dog looking over your shoulder, constantly.  

    The setup is very Stations-of-the-Cross, which is interesting.

    Michalopoulos has the same problem with that ubiquity thing (have any local artists' styles been so brazenly ripped off all over the place?), but at his best, I think I prefer his stuff.

    At any rate, RIP Mr. Rodrigue.  And only a few days after Frank Davis.
