The dogs in NC are no different from the dogs in your home town.
The only way that would be true if they were all cloned.

Actually, what is true is that ...... The dogs in NC are distinct, separate and unique from the dogs in your home town.

Plato wouldn't have it any other way.

the dogs of two cities and systematically paired them up and performed dna tests. So we really don't know. I've lived in five states myself, and the dogs seemed pretty much the same to me.

Your intrinsic claim identifying the "dogs in NC" and then the "dogs in your home town" are two separate groups seems with a weight of evidence approach to evaluating your claim to mitigate that these are separately identifying groups and thus being distinguished as members of their group unique to there respective descriptor.  As a result:

"dogs in NC"  does NOT equal "dogs in your home town"

Each of the dogs in both groups are unique individuals only unto themselves.   Two different unique individuals cannot be the same.  Two different unique groups cannot be the same.

Remember the advice of Dr. Hannibal Lechter to Agent Starling in Silence of the Lambs.....that whole "Marcus Aurelius" discussion.....what is a thing in and of itself, its nature, its description.
