    corgis and labs.  In our case the problem is getting crates.  They rarely come with them or even leashes.  We once appealed to our vet and she generously loaned us 2 for the labs, and I got another crate from a fellow obedience club member, but know I can't rely on that.  

    With some of these dogs you never know what you're getting (because they are scared or untrained, potty issues are a concern), and we won't let them run free in the back of our van.

    Yes, breed rescue groups often have caravans set up.  Very rewarding.

      needs, and the legs with rest stops and warnings takes lots of organizational skill. I found the whole transport thing impressive.

      So many lives are saved this way, it has to be rewarding work.
