    1.  She wrote a rule that eviscerated a State law that would have required public disclosure of contributions that funded so-called "issue adds".  Her rule said only ads that asked you to vote for or against a named candidate required disclosure of the campaign contributors.  The current Republican Secretary of State said she would reverse the Land regulation and was promptly met with a Republican bill to strip her of that authority (SB 661).  Land has not said whether she supports the legislation and Governor Snyder has not said whether he will sign the bill.
    2.  Land is a Michigan delegate to the Republican National Committee along with former Michigan State Representative Dave Agema.  Agema recently delivered a homophobic rant before the Berrien County Republican Party and even doubled-down on them when confronted.
    Governor Snyder and several other Republican's quite rightly condemned Agema's vitriol, but Land has remained silent.  Unless she says something soon, my take is that Land is equally homophobic, but less vocal than Agema.
