I'd like her to run to the left of Hilary which would make Hilary move to the left at least from her usual center right positions.

Dem primary (even though he doesn't have ghost of a chance), he can accomplish the same thing.

Although truth is, Hillary will run much more left in the primary and then (assuming she wins) move to the center again in the general (though not as far right as she could have without a serious challenge from her left).

as Obama showed us. Obama ran far to his left, won, and then governed from his own comfort zone -- which is to Hillary's right.

Hillary is to the left of Bill, which is why Bill had to forbid her from considering single payer when she ran his health care initiative.

As to the belief among purists that she is a warmonger -- she has put in a lot of work to convince them of that. The more they howl about her warmongering, the more they help immunize her against Republican insinuations that she is too female to be a Commander in Chief. She is no more of a warmonger than Bill. She's a hippy from the '60s who wrote her senior thesis on Saul Alinsky. And she's a genuine second-wave feminist. She's exactly what we need.

    •  So what if HRC moves to the left (0+ / 0-)

for the primaries?  She will lurch back to the center right if elected.
