The more concrete you can make them, the more real they'll be to your audience.

Some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

about this comment. I just recently saw an article by Andre Serrano, where he collected signs from homeless people in New York City, and turned them into an art collection to create a conversation about the homeless situation in New York. You can find a link to that here, Sign of the Times. This is exactly the kind of creative, outside-the-box thinking I mentioned in my diary to help put a face on homeless Americans throughout the country. Did it cost him a lot of money? No. Is it a powerful exhibit? I think so. It even made me think twice about homeless people and I've been there before myself.

I stand corrected, again. Thank you for that. I actually wrote a post about this on Veterans Day, mentioning to not ignore homeless veterans because they're not just lazy people who can't work. Some of them sacrificed their mind to help protect this country. They've earned our help. We betrayed their trust.
