    This is supposed to be a substantive difference? It's strange, but every source I found translates it as pagan, except one that lists "heathen pay" as a second meaning. Get real.

      Why are people shocked that the vicar of Christ would advocate for Christianity over paganism?

      What's his position supposed to be? 'Worship a false god? (i.e anything other than the God of Israel according to the bible) Whatevs, it's all the same.'

        I don't see why his position shouldn't be "Worship a false god" there is no evidence that he doesn't.
