    Well, isn't everything you say part of a discussion?

    (You shouldn't believe it because I said it and I don't want any repercussions.)

    Reminds me of my young, Floridian conservative cousin who, when she posts something on facebook which she knows will be inflammatory, she ends her diatribe with, "And I don't want to hear from anybody who disagrees with me!"

    They aren't joking. It's not a matter of political correctness. "Political Correctness" is the scapegoat conservatives use when they violate common decency.

    And I've told her, if you get blowback for things you say or post, perhaps you should reflect a while on why something you support draws such a reaction. Maybe you should think about what you'll say before you say it.
