equivalency, suggest you delete your cookies and leave it there.

No I understand that. My point is why do we get upset at one and not the other. I know I can delete my cookies, just as you can quit using cell phones, email etc. to keep the NSA out of your business.

The best saying I heard about facebook is that if a site wants all your personal information, but is not selling anything, then YOU are the product. After what has happened to Target, I worry more about the corporate information gathering than about the NSA.

seem to understand the false equivalency that forms every attempted connection in this train wreck of a diary.

Are both corporate and governmental collection of data an invasion of privacy?

If so, then YOU are declaring them falsely equivalent. That's your opinion. That's doesn't make them falsely equivalent, just that you declare them so.

You feel that governmental invasion of privacy is worse. I feel I personally have more to fear from corporate invasion. That's not falsely equivalent; that's just a difference of opinion.

Which is the reason for my diary, to explore those differences of opinion.
