    ...of my pet peeves—EIA forecasts—get the treatment they deserve here. Thanks. The wind energy forecast of 2005 has another interesting take. EIA predicted that year that 25 years down the road, in 2030, the U.S. would have 63 gigawatts of installed wind capacity. As you point out, it had 60 GW by 2013.
