I just found out that Pat Benatar will be on tomorrow's finale of The Sing Off.

I'm up to date with it at this point, and have found it to be a really thrilling ride.  The talent is such an inspiration, and the judging has been impeccable.  I can't wait to see how it all turns out (I'm rooting for Vocal Rush - they really choke me up.)

PS:  Even though Vocal Rush is my favorite group, that guy from Home Free sounds like sin dipped in butterscotch.  Easy on the eyes as well as the ears.  Frankie was absolutely right.

The talent packed into such a young group is impressive and their arrangements have been top-notch. It doesn't matter how great the voices are if the arrangements suck but they've handled the challenges masterfully.

I think it's Home Free's to lose. Considering the goal of the show is to produce a recording contract for a viable group with a clear identity that can stick together and tour it might be a long-shot for the two larger groups in the finale; one group is too young and the other group is too new and neither has a signature POV.

Home Free has the unique advantage of singing country and being identified as country artists which puts them in a class by themselves. In four seasons there hasn't been a group so perfectly tailored and ready-made for the win which isn't surprising since they're already a moderately successful group that tours and has regular gigs. Winning would help them reach the next level in the industry.

But it is a competition and anything can happen. One bad bridge or a lousy arrangement can blow anyone's chances of winning.
