I LOVE this trio of photographs!  Merry Christmas indeed!

The skillfully wrapped trees are yours, of course, as are the lights in the close up "watercolor" photo ... but are the center spheres yours as well?  Does the trio have a particular significance?

May your holiday be full of laughter, shared memories, and gleeful gluttony.  Remember to steep your senses in the sweetness of these moments ...

And let's all have a great new year ...

There are only four photos; the top two of the same tree but one is flipped, the middle photo repeated twice more to form a trio, and the bottom one which came out blurry. I've always wanted one of those lighted orbs and this year I finally allowed myself to buy one; they're not exactly cheap!

Okay, talk about Christmas kismit... I have my YouTube Christmas music set list autoplaying in the background and guess what just now as I was typing the above started playing; a very lovely rendition of The Christmas Song on a ukelele!

...and now Silent Night is playing...

      It couldn't be more perfect.

I had to stop for a moment to get the cookies out of the oven before they burned. That oven timer sure is relentless! I forgot that this cookie baking stuff is very time-consuming. The best part is that Dusty has been anxiously camped out in front of the oven since he caught the first whiff of cookies baking...

I hope you and yours have a memorable holiday as well and that the new year brings you all the best.

... snuzzling a freshly baked cookie.  I'll bet it's almost painfully cute!

Your house must smell fantastic, even now ...

Yesterday, one of the neighbors delivered their annual tin of baked goods.  Since i cling to a reciprocity principal where gifts are concerned, i'm tormented by guilt.  Not guilty enough to bake though. :)  A thank you note will have to suffice.
