    is having a plan for creating jobs.

    We all know that, whatever the markers say about an economic recovery, for too many Americans that recovery simply does not exist. They are still in the Great Recession. No job, or low wages, or a wage freeze, or lost benefits, or no growth potential.

    Whoever has a better plan for creating jobs/stimulating the economy (as perceived by the voters), will win the midterms.

    And I agree with what Pluto says about making guns an issue. Not a good strategy. For now.

      I don't know that either party is ready to go full-on populist, but if the Democrats do, 2014 will be a landslide. So far the GOP is too afraid of the Tea Party to do anything but preach austerity.
