  •  Look at the history of ENDA for a perfect example (5+ / 0-)

    Protections for transfolks were intentionally pulled from the bill. This happens often. A bill will start as a LGBT thing and end up being LG.

    That is what I mean by exclusions. There are a number of other examples where LGB citizens have gained ground whle Ts have not. DADT being another example.

      In your ENDA example, it would be the case that the T has been excluded, but not the B, no?  

      I agree that the issues affecting transgendered men and women are often ignored or considered least in the LGBT community.
