whenever I come to Kos, or any other left leaning blog for that matter, I see more from the right than I ever see from the left. I'm sick of seeing only what the other side says and does. No wonder we can never get anything done. No one knows what progressivism or liberalism is anymore because we never discuss it.

    •  A discussion reqires hearing both sides (0+ / 0-)

How did you miss the discussions of the views from the right?

Are you saying that the 'left leaning blog' only feature views from the right with  commenting on the errors and omissions or comments disagreeing with the sentiments, facts and assertions?

The only way to understand what progressivism or liberalism is is to compare it to present day conservatism.

Conservatives fear sliding into a society where the masses are kept quiet with 'bread and circuses' so they preach austerity to the point of regressing to Dickens' society where the masses are starved and helped to die off.

The challenge is to stymy the conservative repression without becoming a welfare state.

      •  Left never puts forth its agenda (0+ / 0-)

and therefore nothing happens. This is how the right always wins. They have an agenda and stick to it. I used to think this was by accident, but given the rise of the corporate Democrats, I now believe this is by design. Only Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren speak of a progressive agenda. We need a new party around those two.
