       A sufficient GMI gives people enough to buy food, shelter and clothing. Supportive government health care and education programs further benefit the commonwealth. Providing food, shelter, clothing, health care, education, infrastructure and research make sure there are jobs for everyone who wants them.

        GMI assures that a job has to offer enough to make it worthwhile. There is no need for a minimum wage. People who want more (isn't that just about everybody) will work. Some people will work just because they want something to do. Nobody will work for an abusive boss or in unsafe conditions unless the reward is much better than what they can get elsewhere.

       This is a possible world to create but certainly not the one we have.
