    I've been keeping date, seq#, common name, and notes. I drop the dates for display here but it is interesting to compare dates.

    So if you have a column for me, and the rows are lists of birds, then you read my list and check off in appropriate cell. Seems like a lot of work. I like EL's thoughts above but it seems importing our rows of bird sightings is not going to help. BUT whatever way it goes, I could modify my records easily enough. I've been doing it in a text file each year but I might switch over to a spreadsheet for better analysis.
