Independent research by universities and scientists is not killing wolves. You too can google or you can just read your own links to Wildlife News with regularity and an informed mind. They are anti hunting but not all of their commenters are, even their anti hunting scientists are after all scientists and they are up on the most recent understanding of wolves, the wolves effect on prey, etc. (look careful to see who has what education)

No knowledgeable person will say wolves can not be hunted. Those are exactly the conditions under which they were brought here in the first place. It's called the 10j rule. Indeed they have to be given their rate of reproduction.

But back to the subject, the problem with a call out diary is it attacks the person not the idea. I'm more than happy to discuss predators, predator management, etc. But we have to leave the personal out of it.

    •  Please just answer the question (0+ / 0-)

Isn't is misleading to write a diary portraying RMEF as an environmental group and not mention that their anti-predator activities?

I only called out your diary because it was misleading.  You'll note that I've never personally attacked you (or anyone else in this thread), even though you have called me ignorant and a fibber.

      •  you falsely portray the RMEF as being anti wolf (0+ / 0-)

how is that true? When people say untrue stuff I don't know what else to call it. Misinformed is being polite. They are also in no way anti predator. I've given you links.

I did not call RMEF an environmental group, they are one America's premier conservation groups. You might not understand but there is a difference. If you don't even know what I actually said try using block quotes, it avoids misunderstanding.

Their core mission is land conservation. Because you don't like the fact that they also advocate wolf management is irrelevant to me, to my post, or to conservation.

Kinda sick of talking to you, more productive use of time, nice avatar you have.

        •  And now we're done. (0+ / 0-)

Take it from a professional conservation biologist (with fancy degrees and all), single-species management is not conservation.  Have you even read Aldo Leopold, whom you quote in your sig?  Fierce green fire and all that?  I can guess what he would think of RMEF's wolf policies.

You're denying reality.  Which means that you're either delusional or have a massive case of confirmation bias going on.  Have a lovely new year.
