  •  Oh... and anyway, issue is not whether or not (0+ / 0-)

    this hurt national security.

Snowden is not entitled to rummage through US secrets and unilaterally declassify and reveal anything he thinks will not hurt US national security.

There is no whistleblowing justification for this revelation.  It was a crime.  He deserves to go to jail for a long long time.

it WAS about hurting National Security for you.

Both of your comments put emphasis on that supposedly detrimental outcome in order to justify his going to prison.

Apparently you don't know what you think or why. You also want to see Snowden in jail really badly, or so it seems.

Let me ask you this, do you feel his leaks were beneficial in terms starting the conversation wrt to unconstitutional surveillance being carried out by government spy agencies?

      If no, why?

If yes, why does the leak you cite as having hurt national security trump the beneficial leaks to the degree you'd rather see him rot in prison than to be given immunity?

Somebody has to do something, and it's just incredibly pathetic that it has to be us. ~ J. Garcia
