Officials' worst-case scenarios initially pictured 22,215 people enrolling in December. Their mid-range enrollment projection was 40,372 people enrolling this month.

The marketplace's worst-case enrollment projections envisioned 36,931 enrollments by Dec. 31.

Officials' mid-range projection - the figure needed for the marketplace to reach its goal of 136,300 enrollees by the end of 2014 - is 67,114 enrollees by Dec. 31.

Their best-case scenario is 102,775 enrollments by the end of the year.

So, they hit right in between the worst-case and mid-range. Not bad given the October disaster.

Them and our local news stations like KOAA 5 not only posted the mid Dec enrollements as very low, but they even shared some of their FB users' comments that were mostly negative about the law. I was struck by their reporting, cause they've always said they're "accurate, fast, and fair" on their reporting. Now that we're more than halfway through the enrollment I wonder if accurate, fast, and fair will still play out here.
