  •  check with local and out of state breed rescue (4+ / 0-)

there are some that are VERY unscrupulous that will race out of state to grab purebreds then "sell" them as rescues.  check shelters to see if she came through and if one of these groups grabbed her.

selling "rescues" is a very big business - purebreds fetch $450 and higher for them.  i USED to be very supportive of all breed rescue groups until i started seeing them snatch dogs away from their home territories and transport them halfway across the country on a first-grab, first-sell basis.

i hate to sound cynical since there are some very good groups out there - but, unfortunately, some are very disreputable!

call every rescue group - post with petfinder - call every shelter (ESPECIALLY with a northern breed that tends to run).  IF she has been taken in, chances are that she will escape at some point and possibly end up in a shelter.

i hope celine is found.  i have had samoyeds for over 40 years and know these sled dogs and their cousins only too well.

hugs for her family and prayers for the girl...

EdriesShop Is it kind? is it true? is it necessary?
