    Most people's health insurance is canceled repeatedly as they age.  You won't have the same policies at 21, 40, and 60. Otherwise the policy would be called "guaranteed renewable."

    Because of this there was already a tremendous amount of churn in the market except now the GOP claims this is new.

    Does the GOP want to outlaw cancellations? Because that would be the dreaded government takeover that never happened.

      change from year to year, as they add coverage in one area or reduce it in another; that's why you've got open enrollment periods so people can evaluate plans and decide if it's time for a change. And sometimes even employers drop one plan in favor of another that might be cheaper, forcing employees to scramble and change -- where's the GOP outrage over that?
