    largely created by capitalism.

    Yes, the basic structure was created by academia and expanded with government backing; but most of what and how we use the net is the result of capitalism.

    Now, that doesn't mean that we should abandon net neutrality; but one should keep in mind that a lot of the net is experienced via mobile devices and data limits seem well entrenched there already and have been for a while, without the parade of horribles mentioned in the diary coming to pass.

    Given that there are limits to bandwith and some people want to use a lot relative to others, how do you propose to allocate it?  Moreover, what about bandwith makes it an exception to general economic principles?
