Ownership of robots needs to be spread amongst the entire population and we need a guaranteed basic income for all.
this.  Some people were losing their jobs by being replaced by robots, so there was a proposal to ban robots.  But other people who owned robots were renting them out to make money while their owners were doing something else and they emphatically didn't want to have robots banned.  So the solution was to require all robots to be owned by real people, not companies.  If a company wanted to use a robot for a task, it had to find a person who owned that type of robot and rent it from them.  OR it had to find a person and convince them to buy the kind of robot the company wanted so that the company could rent it.  I'm sorry I can't remember the title.
