The talking heads on Faux News are parroting this talking point now, ad nauseum:

"The contrast between Obama and Christie is stark!!"

Let 'em put those two into a side by side compare-and-contrast in viewers' minds all day long. Go Fox!

The contrast is very strong.  One is an opportunistic, vindictive bully.  The other is the President of the United States.  Christie fired "those responsible," without conducting further investigation because such investigation was "unnecessary."  He showed a remarkable lack of curiosity about why top aides suddenly betrayed him by acting entirely on their own to punish someone the governor disliked for whatever reason.  The President actually conducted a legitimate investigation into Benghazi.  Just because Fox thinks someone should have been fired doesn't make it so.  Restraint, while seeking the facts, is actually a virtue.  Going off on a rant and taking punitive action against someone who displeases the "leader," is the action of a bully and shows lack of planning and poor impulse control- the very character traits, which would lead the governor to order retribution for a mayor's refusal to go along with Christie's plan.  Fox's insistence on repeating this mantra does the governor no favor, emphasizing as it does the governor's tendency to thoughtless over-reation nor does it call the President's actions and judgment into question.
