  •  I hadn't heard about the domain names... (0+ / 0-)

he aquired, but thanks for pointing it out. What possible legitimate use would there be for those domain names? None in my opinion!

It would appear that they were aquired for some nefarious purpose. I had been wondering why Wildstein plead the 5th. Now I'm wonder how many reasons did he plead the 5th.

Wildstein is a first class scumbag!

... for all kinds of reasons.  Some people buy domains in the names of  talented high school athletes in the hope that when the athlete goes pro the athlete will pay a lot of money to be able to use his or her own name on the internet.  Wildstein was probably hoping for the same thing, he "bet" that Buono would pay him a hefty amount to use her name for her campaign.  If she paid his price she got her name, if not, he's allowed to put whatever he wants on that domain - like a redirect to Christie's campaign page.  It happens all of the time - whitehouse.com was a porn site for a while - note, link to Wiki page not a porn site.  I'm not condoning this, just explaining it.

      •  no you're not explaining. (0+ / 0-)

it's common knowledge that wildstein bought the names of POLITICAL FOES for one reason:  to mess with them.

I am tired of laughing at the irony of their stupidity.
