  •  If this doesnt end with Christie et al in prison (5+ / 0-)

... then justice will have failed.

They purposefully messed with the lives of tens of thousands of innocent people, over the most petty, partisan bullshit most of us have ever heard of. Everyone involved absolutely MUST receive the punishment their crimes deserve!

    •  It might be hard to get CC in the slammer (6+ / 0-)

No, I don't mean literally (this adds new meaning to the To get him in prison means getting more than a few whistleblowers to squeal.  Impeaching him, on the other hand, might just happen since you only need to turn a few Republicans and this is not a guy beloved in his own party.  And it's not like anybody believes him when he does the "I know nothing, nothing!" bit, my comments about him going to prison are based on the difficulty of getting any mob kingpin convicted.  Mafia bosses are very good at throwing their underlings under a bus, figuratively and literally.

His 2016 ambitions are dead.  And the longer he stays in office, the bigger the Democratic legislative victory in 2015.  This is why he may not make it another four years.  The R's will boot him out to prevent a landslide.

I heard a group of old timers saying they wanted CC for president so he can restore respect for the USA lost under Obama. I said ma'am with all due respect, this press conference was about staying outta jail. He isn't going to be president, and I highly doubt he will stay governor. They looked stunned, as they sat their enjoying widows' pensions, Medicare, and SS....I then stood up in this bastion of conservativism where Fox news is always blaring, and announced to my pal that it was a great day, because soon we'd have a new governor!
