    but without it, I don't breathe. So it's worth the risks. I do take extra calcium every day however, which helps with the osteoporosis and muscle weakness. My blood pressure and my sugar are both low/borderline low and I've been on the low dose for about 3 years now. Those have always been low for me. So I'm less worried about them then the bone issues.

      that i found extremely informative and leading to more info, as the current cumulative findings on calcium alone and also calcium+VitD are that in terms of bone health it/they aren't the magic after all.  here's that KosA diary link

      i can't recall if i've mentioned finding that diary before now.  current cumulative findings on calcium also are that it is, to put it delicately, a mixed blessing, notably as regards heart muscle behavior which is a problem i have that increasing my K2 intake has welcomely alleviated a bit (calcium directly stimulates cardiac muscle as well as stimulating nerves to cardiac muscle, hence the popularity of calcium channel blocker drugs.)

      all medications involve risks and benefits, of course.  kind of like life generally!  we do teh best we R abel.
