    Liberals 1-- years ago were motivated by anger and the injustices they experienced in their own lives.  Today, much of the liberal demographic is much more comfortable in their personal life, and the motivation is more one of guilt or empathy.  As you leads to a certain degree of acceptance or resignation.

      in their previous lives.  That's why I really don't like the term, it implies these cretins were, at some point in their lives, liberals. They had no conscience to abandon.

      I've spent a lot of time around them since the dawn of the DLC and was surprised early on what conservative moneygrubbers they were.  If they had a "liberal moment" it was when they were smoking pot in college to try to get some hippie chick in the sack.

      Perhaps I should go back to using my preferred term for them ConservaDems.

      If cutting Social Security & Medicare benefits for low income seniors is what Democrats do after they win a budget standoff, I'd hate to see what they do after they lose one.
