  •  The IPCC estimate is probably low IMHO (7+ / 0-)

    It is based on "process models", not "semi-empirical models" which give a higher estimate and may still miss a lot.

    SLR is a question of how high how soon. Saying as above a definite amount by a definite date is spurious accuracy.

    If you leave out How soon? I expect multiple meters before it comes back down again. CO2 looks to go over 450 ppm. Sea level was much higher the last time CO2 went over 400. But how long will CO2 stay over 400? Perhaps not long enough for the sea to rise as much as before. But still too much for south Florida IMHO.
