    This is going to be an issue all the way down to NOLA and when it finally dumps in to the Gulf. Though it will get continually diluted I wonder if the press will report on that aspect of the problem? Haha, just kidding, of course they won't. :P

    There are lies, damn lies, and statistics but they all pale in comparison to conservative talking points.

      is full of chemicals from upstream and from local sources.

      Nobody really knows what's in rivers, or what has been deposited in sediments over more than a century that get free when they're stirred up (like during droughts when water hits record lows).

      We need more good research on chemicals, better informed and stronger regulations and more inspections.

      All that requires people (jobs!) and a LOT more funding, of course.

      Senator (Cruz), you're no Wendy Davis.
