      Unfortunately.

The recent Shriver Report on women's economic issues has an advisory committee filled with conservative men, including GOP strategist Frank Luntz.

The corporate sponsors prefer male domination. Wimmin aren't smart enough to figure out what's best for them, you know.

If cutting Social Security & Medicare benefits for low income seniors is what Democrats do after they win a budget standoff, I'd hate to see what they do after they lose one.

knows how to get a message across. The downfall of the Dems is that they don't do sound bites well.

Dems also are afraid of losing. When billions disappear from financial institutions the FBI should be on it. Are they no. The AG is busy finessing a defacto ban of state approved marijuana sales.

        •  ConservaDems are using Luntz (0+ / 0-)

to push their woefully inadequate women's agenda for 2014 and 2016.  It's something we'll have to subvert. They know the women's vote is vitally important to Dem victories, but they want to push a corporate friendly agenda.

Check out the Shriver Report on women's issues.   It's funded by corporations, pushes Hillary Clinton for POTUS and relies on conservative men like Frank Luntz to sell the reeking package to women voters.

        •  They've gotten much worse at messaging (0+ / 0-)

They are battling with themselves. I'm not too worried about their allegedly omnipotent, failsafe "messaging." Half of that's a myth we're built up to scare ourselves.

      •  Maria Shriver is a Democrat like Harold Ford, (0+ / 0-)

Corey Booker, Hillary Clinton and Dick Durbin are Democrats.

        Nuff said.

      •  Plenty of women Dems here in Ohio (0+ / 0-)

In the Ohio lege, women have taken leadership pretty powerfully. We have people like Nickie Antonio, Kathleen Clyde, Nina Turner, Connie Pillich, and Tracy Heard, among others, who really kick ass. And we have elected them in infinitely larger percentages. I've even been hearing rumors that Democratic gubernatorial candidate Ed FitzGerald's LG pick might be a woman, making a half and half ticket for the first time in Ohio history.
