when we look at the children of our politicians, we should realize that any politician who's a big name these days might not have had as much to do with raising his/her kids as, say, our own mothers and fathers.

Yes, my parents taught me service.  I was lucky, far luckier than the Bush twins.  I had parents who wanted to be involved in my life.  Somehow, I think those girls might have missed that bit.  And poor as I am, today I'm glad I had active, involved parents instead of a no-limits Visa and the keys to the BMW.

You're right, they don't seem particularly motivated to do much in a productive capacity at the moment.  They're also young, have far too much money and seem to have far too little in the way of parents-kicking-their-asses-out-of-the-nest.

I agree, their behavior doesn't (often) do much in the way of being a credit to their father.

I just don't think it's fair to paint them with the industrial-sized roller we just got done using on their Dad.

who controls the 'raqi war? who tells big lies by the score? Bush do! Bush do!
