    with the insurers and get put on their plans — if they wanted to.
    but they may be demanding excessively high payments and the only way we are going to force payments down is just saying no.

    Insurers wind up paying different amounts to different hospitals when the big Brand Name ones demand more and have more clout. That costs everyone more.

    It seems to me the hospital who is whining about Obama's promises thought this would be a grand time to raise all their rates.

    Why not call you insurer and ask why they are not included. Better yet write a short note the the CEO or who ever's the big boss.

    You don't have the bargaining power to bring costs down. An insurer might.
