      both as a movie and a book. Was it high literary fiction or deep movie making? No. Did it speak to what happens too often in this country? Yes. (Too often every where of course, but particularly in this country that claims itself to be above that sort of thing in many ways.)

      Actually, imo, Grisham has been talking about this for a very long time, in a way that no one targets him for. In fact, both left and right obviously buy his books like crazy.

      But if you ask me, Grisham has a very good understanding of the politics vs. the purity of any ideological stance. And, he very obviously to me, has an understanding of the under dogs' position when put into play against the powers that be.
