    Matthews actually made some petulant comment, something like it was his show and he was moderating the discussion. Tweety can't stand it when he doesn't absolutely control the chatter. He has such a short attention span, too. If he's not into a topic, he'll only let a guest get some perfunctory statement out so he can move on to some horse race politics angle that he really wants to talk about.

     Steve was actually answering the questions and providing needed information and context, and Chris was bored and peeved. It's always all about him. The same with O'Donnell, and with Scarborough in spades -- and clubs, hearts and diamonds, too. It's why I watch them less often. With Maddow, Hayes, Kornacki, Perry, it's the story, not their overblown egos, that has center stage.

      to my comments about Tweety.  He can be such a piece of work.   Unfortunately, he does seem to tap into the Village zeitgeist so you can't just ignore him.
