Really. If it's true, it IS deserving of their freakout in some ways. Think about it. This old'un can rather sympathize on a most basic, public-safety level with the dilemma this government seems to be in.

But they brought this shit on themselves. All of it. And they did it in my name and yours. And they damn well had no business doing it.

Honestly, if I'm even in the ballpark, I'm just not sure I really wanna know, to tell you the truth. But it would explain a lot of stupid shit, in terms of how they've handled this Snowden thing from the beginning, wouldn't it?

This all started with "what the Republicans did to language".

would be because of all of its nefarious doings and attempting to hide them from the public, which is not acceptable in a democratic form of government.

I question how much of a democratic form of government we still have.

Yes, I would like to know, we all should, so that we can prevent such things from ever happening again.

on the general "line of democracy" if you will. Yes, we of course should know. They'd just need to watch how they disseminate info like that. Some people are liable to....not take it very well.

Could get seriously ugly--that was essentially my overall point. But absolutely,

so that we can prevent such things from ever happening again.
          agreed...

Behind everything the US has done in our name.
After all, we paid for those activities.
I would want to know why Gore sat their and ignored all those Senators that got up and pleaded with him to keep fighting.
Yep, I think I could 'handle the truth'.

and probably just about anyone here could.

I'm talking about the less savvy in the population. You know, your FOX worshipers and all the damned gun nuts. Good God, I shudder to think...
