Living in Wisconsin, I've had more than enough of this crap of blaming the people who DID vote for Democrats for the fact that OTHERS didn't.  It's no different than claiming someone is a criminal themselves just because they live in a high crime neighborhood.  Or blaming children for the actions of their parents.  You aren't responsible for the things other people near you have chosen to do.  To say otherwise is to demand that people try to oppressively control their neighbors with a forced consensus - a sort of fascist neighborhood association that not only cites people for growing their grass too tall, but also for voting for the wrong people.

    •  I know some Dems in Florida who can sympathize. (0+ / 0-)

      Texas too.

I can see Canada from my house. No, really, I can.

it more as a comment on the state party, than individual voters.

If you are just an individual, I can hardly blame you for any failures of those high up in the party

Obama's actions make a lot more sense if you discard the idea that he is brilliant in all fields

it's like they take that trope and they make it personal.

        It's attack-minded, it's accusatory, and it's pointless.

This all started with "what the Republicans did to language".
