    Christie.  The President was concerned about the area receiving relief.  Two completely different things.

      Certainly his primary concern was to help and get emergency relief to the people affected.

      Hurricane Sandy also hit at the very end of a grueling Presidential campaign, on Oct 29 -- just one week away from the election on Nov 6. It undoubtedly helped his campaign to appear as a national leader during an emergency, and to present an image (plastered across national TV screens) of him working hand in hand with a Republican governor. (Some winnable voters like that kind of 'bipartisan' appeal.)









































      Mittens, on the other hand, was not amused by being shunted aside. ;-)
