    appropriated so many things that were not their/our own. There is much wisdom in the old ones but how is a person to know whether that wisdom is given freely or being stolen.

    When I was a child in the 1960s, I met many native people caught up in the sharing spirit of the times. They gave freely the wisdom that often saved my life when I was being crushed by the same white man's army that devastated the native american communities across the continent. Now, I rarely share what they taught me for I do not wish to do harm.

    Would that I could undo the harm that was done by those who came before me. I'm sorry that I cannot bring the Spirit of Crazy Horse to everyone who might need it. All I can do is respect the wishes of those who chose now to preserve their wisdom for their own children.
