to get as far as she has, and maybe, the first woman who has been around long enough to have the proper resume to run, might be part of a power couple

this will no longer be true for younger women moving up but Hilary is older and that is how it WAS

    •  You're exactly correct, and that's why (7+ / 0-)

I will vote for her. Frankly, I really can't think of another candidate who has her resume--the resume needed to really make a successful bid for the White House. Sure, she's more conservative than I am, but she and Big Dog are not only respected around the world and around the country but loved.

I can't think of anyone more qualified than former Sec. Clinton. And if she's a Blue Dog, well, so be it. I think she may surprise me. If she runs, I'll vote for her. But I'm also of her kids generation, kinda (my parents are that age but I'm older than Chelsea, I'm 44) and WAY more progressive. But this time, if she runs, I'll do it. I'll vote for her.

can't think of a possible male candidate on either side withe her domestic and foreign policy experience

it is not so much about being the first woman, she is just the most qualified

        •  I totally agree. (0+ / 0-)

I wish she were a progressive, but she's the Democrat we have. I'm pretty partisan about that, and as long as she doesn't want to roll back civil rights--including the civil rights of LGBT persons--I can deal with that, and vote for her.
